چکیده
We discuss different magnetic phenomena observed in carbon-based structures, in particular the diamagnetism, paramagnetism and ferromagnetism observed in graphite, disordered carbon, fullerenes and irradiated carbon structures.

Magnetism is one of the four fundamental forces. However, the origin of magnetic fields in stars, galaxies and clusters is an open problem in astrophysics and fundamental physics. When and how were the first fields generated? Are present-day magnetic fields a result of dynamo action, or do they represent persistent primordial magnetism? What role do magnetic fields play in turbulence, cosmic ra...

Spin-polarized electronic and transport properties of Armchair GraphdiyneNanoribbons (A-GDYNR) with single vacancy (SV), two types of configurations fordouble vacancy (DV1, DV2) and multi vacancy (MV) defects are studied by nonequilibriumGreen’s function (NEGF) combined with density functional theory (DFT).The results demonstrate that the A-GDYNR with the SV has the lowe...

Inflationary scenario based on a renormalizable model of conformal gravity is proposed and primordial spectrum is derived. The sharp fall off of the angular power spectra at low multipoles in the COBE and WMAP observations are explained by a dynamical scale of quantum gravity. At this scale, the universe would make a sharp transition from the quantum spacetime with conformal invariance to the c...

We raise the possibility of developing a theory of constructing quantum dynamical observables independent from quantization and deriving classical dynamical observables from pure quantum mechanical consideration. We do so by giving a detailed quantum mechanical derivation of the classical time of arrival at arbitrary arrival points for a particle in one dimension. E. A. Galapon J. Math. Phys. 4...
متن کامل1 7 Se p 20 04 Diamond ( on the regulars ) can fail at any strongly unfoldable cardinal
If κ is any strongly unfoldable cardinal, then this is preserved in a forcing extension in which 3κ(reg) fails. This result continues the progression of the corresponding results for weakly compact cardinals, due to Woodin, and for indescribable cardinals, due to Hauser.
